here is the home made heating plate for the size of the nexus 7 screen this is the wire i used, guitar 0.007", the smallest i could find. temperature of the plate is around 65 deg. celsius. this is the key ingredient, silicone grease perfect job in 7 minutes, only one pass not much glue is usually left on the lcd, most remains on the digitizer. here is the glue left on the digitizer. how are we going to remove that? here comes the miracle of technology, the mighty essential oil.
leave with the oil to react for 4-5 hours or even more after 4 hours, wipe the excess oil in case there is any. here is the miracle under your eyes! that's all folks, rest is just fine tuning the cleaning.
